Mentorship Program

The Junior League of Omaha’s Mentorship Program was created for the purpose of engaging and retaining current members in the League. The Mentorship Program reaches out to members to participate with the hopes of achieving the following goals:

  • Engage/involve members in their first and second Active years through the use of mentors who can share their experiences and offer guidance

  • Keep more members active and interested in their League membership by helping them engage in League social events and volunteer opportunities

  • Provide training and a clear direction of the committee’s goals through Mentorship training and the implementation of program expectations

  • To have 100% retention of League members who participated in the Mentorship Program

Mentorship Program details:

  • The JLO Mentorship Program is for first and second year Active Members (mentees) who are paired with a mentor who is a minimum three year Active Member

  • Mentors and mentees are paired based on common interests and what each member is hoping to get out of her League experience
