bRUNch 5K finishes with $12,000 raised

With a cool way to kick off  the morning and a high of 68 degrees, it was a beautiful Saturday for the 3rd annual bRUNch 5K at Midtown Crossing.

At 9 a.m. 90 participants lined up and ran along the Turner Boulevard trail and Pacific Street, and over 50 brunchers enjoyed the buffet-style brunch at Crave, which included eggs, sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes and croissants. With mimosas and bloody marys flowing, it was great way to start the day.

Raffle packages included health and wellness, stock-the-bar and a gift card grab bag.

The event raised approximately $12,000 in gross revenues for the League. Overall the event was a success, and we look forward to next year’s race!
