Sparkling Spirits at Annual Holiday Social

The Junior League of Omaha hosted its Annual Holiday Social on Dec. 11 at the Pella at Blackstone. The Winter Wonderland theme made for a festive and fun evening.

Green trees strung with white lights filled the stage at the front of the room, as pine cones, evergreen boughs, birch branches and votive candles adorned each table.

Members and Sustainers enjoyed a menu of light appetizers, including water chestnuts wrapped in bacon, Thai marinated chicken tenders, crab rangoon and artichoke dip in phyllo cups. As usual, the wine was plentiful.

Holiday music and films played throughout the evening, and the hum of lively conversations and laughter filled the air.

President Megan Riebe Reay noted, “The Holiday Social is one of my favorite meetings of the year! It brings together New Members, Actives, and Sustainers solely for the purpose of celebrating—celebrating each other, celebrating what we have been able to accomplish as a League and celebrating where we are headed next.”

Indeed, the gathering was a celebration of hard work, dedicated women and the Junior League of Omaha.
