Today we’d like to introduce you to Steffanie Buckley! Stephanie is in her sixth active year with the League and serves as our 2021-2022 Chair of Placement on Membership Council.

Steffanie initially joined the League in St. Louis as a way to get to know the community and build relationships. While her new member year was in St. Louis, she enjoyed it so much that when she moved back to Omaha, she immediately jumped back in and has been involved ever since. The relationships she has built and continues to build with women in the community is one of the main reasons she continues being involved in the League.

Another reason Steffanie stays involved in the League is because of the leadership opportunities. Being open and willing to take on different roles has helped her grow personally and professionally. Her advice to others who want to join the League is to take the chance – you never know what another woman sees within you. The League is a powerful community of women who are there to build each other up, so why not take the chance and become involved?

Outside the League, Steffanie works as a Compliance Specialist for Sales at WoodmenLife. She’s also a member of the NMEP Guild and am a TriDelta Alumnae.
