Reason for joining the League: To become more involved in the Omaha community.

What you’ve learned so far: The League has so many great partnerships and works with many different organizations throughout Omaha. It’s been wonderful to learn how JLO has such a positive impact on these organizations.   

What you look forward to within the League: I am looking forward to placement and building on what we have learned in our new member year.  

Fun fact: She went to Kansas State and is going through her first year of the League with her older sister, Courtney Coleman.

Reason for joining the League: Expanding my network and getting more involved in the local community.

What you’ve learned so far: It’s been interesting to learn more about the League over this past year. The operation of the organization has blown me away; there seems to be a committee and a process for everything!

What you look forward to within the League: I’m excited to get a placement and start the fun!

Fun fact: I’m from Omaha and moved back from Little Rock five years ago and still have not been able to stop saying “y’all!”

Reason for joining the League: I joined because I wanted to make connections and friendships with other motivated and philanthropically-minded women.

What you’ve learned so far: I’ve learned that the League is a much larger organization than I originally realized and it’s already been empowering to be a part of!

What you look forward to within the League: I’m really looking forward to my first active year and getting to form closer relationships.

Fun fact: I turned one of the spare bedrooms in my house into a walk-in shoe room. I own over 400 pairs of shoes. It’s pretty epic.
