The “Dine at Runza” event in support of the Junior League of Omaha’s A Book of My Own (ABOMO) took place on Aug. 29. The event raised $5,828, which will allow ABOMO to purchase 4,355 books. Fourteen Runza locations participated.

ABOMO Chair Liz Akert was enthusiastic about the event’s turn out and the League’s partnership with Runza. “We love our partnership with Runza! It’s a great event that gets our name into the community and we are able to purchase thousands of books for children in the Omaha area” she said.
