Meet Jazmyn Schuette, DEIB Chair for the Junior League of Omaha!

For Jazmyn, the Junior League of Omaha is all about shared purpose and collective impact. “My favorite part is giving back to the community alongside incredible, driven women who share the same passion and purpose,” she shares. “It’s inspiring to work together toward something bigger than ourselves.”

As DEIB Chair, Jazmyn is excited to lead important conversations and create space for learning and growth. “I’m looking forward to hosting DEIB trainings for the League and deepening my own understanding of important topics like accessibility and equity,” she explains. “These areas are often overlooked in DEIB conversations, and I’m eager to explore them further with our members.”

Her advice to new members is to dive into the experience. “Sign up for volunteer shifts and attend socials—you’ll quickly find your community within the League,” she says. “There are so many amazing women here; it’s just about finding your group.”

Outside of her League work, Jazmyn recently celebrated a beautiful milestone. “I just got married in October in an intimate elopement ceremony,” she shares. “Still riding that high!”

We are so grateful for Jazmyn’s leadership, empathy, and commitment to creating a more inclusive and understanding community. She reminds us that when women come together with open hearts and shared purpose, meaningful change follows.
