The book starts with the best beverages for your next get-together and continues with appetizers, salads and soups, main dishes, vegetables and sides, brunch and breads and desserts.
As the cookbook states, “With A Century of Serving as your guide, you are sure to be the ‘hostess with the mostess’, just like our beloved city.
Hosting is what Omaha does best. Like all Omahans, the Junior League of Omaha is proud of our city, which provides a warm welcome to guests from all over the world. The community’s unique hospitality is what keeps our out-of-town guests coming back year after year. Our hope is that the recipes collected from our members and our community will enable you to serve and host within your own life, just like the Junior League of Omaha has done for a century.”
