Excitement Builds for for “A Century of Serving: A Centennial Cookbook Celebration”

A Century of Serving: A Centennial Cookbook Celebration, presented by the Junior League of Omaha goes on sale to the public September 1, 2018, at jlomaha.org for $35. With nearly 250 recipes, many accompanied by photos from renowned photographer Joshua Foo, the book provides a plan for a delightful dinner, a perfect party and everything in between. The book starts with the best beverages for your next get-together and continues with appetizers, salads and soups, main dishes, vegetables and sides, brunch and breads and desserts.

As the cookbook states, “With A Century of Serving as your guide, you are sure to be the ‘hostess with the mostess’, just like our beloved city.

Hosting is what Omaha does best. Like all Omahans, the Junior League of Omaha is proud of our city, which provides a warm welcome to guests from all over the world. The community’s unique hospitality is what keeps our out-of-town guests coming back year after year. Our hope is that the recipes collected from our members and our community will enable you to serve and host within your own life, just like the Junior League of Omaha has done for a century.”

Buy your book online through the Junior League website or in-person at events throughout the fall and holiday season.
