Distinguished Sustainer Award

The Distinguished Sustainer Award is given to one Sustainer each League year. To be considered, it is recommended that each candidate has held her Sustaining status for a minimum of seven years; has, at one time, been a strong, active leader in the Junior League of Omaha; has taken her volunteer training from the League and implemented it in the community; and, has made a significant impact, either professionally or personally, in our community.

Sustainer Hall of Fame

Each year two or three Sustaining members are inducted into the Junior League of Omaha Sustainer Hall of Fame. For consideration, each candidate must have been a Sustainer for at least five years; be currently active in the Junior League of Omaha (or active within the last three years) as an advisor, project placement or honorary chairman; and be active in numerous community groups, guilds or boards. Additionally, the candidate may not be a past President of the Junior League of Omaha.

Women to Watch

The Women to Watch award recognizes an Active member's support and dedication to the Junior League of Omaha's mission of promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community. The award, which celebrates the trained volunteer and the spirit of volunteerism, is given to a maximum of three members in honor of the three founding members of the Junior League of Omaha.
